Living in a Hostel

Thanks for visiting my blog. I haven't written any posts for a few months mainly because I have a lot of stuff going on.

That includes watching TV :-). But seriously, I do enjoy watching TV just not all day. I'm on the computer most of the time while the TV (or radio) plays in the background. I enjoy being busy even if it means sweeping the floor or doing the dishes I have to have something to do most of the time. Maybe it's an old habit from working.

I'm glad I decided to post a quick note here. Hatena is one of the blogging platforms I actually enjoy working on. It's easy to post and it's even easier to read other people's blogs. There is a lot of variety, but I don't have to tell you that. You probably read as many blogs as I do. You never know what's going to happen online. I'm amazed at the breadth of variety there is online.

At any rate, I'm now living in a hostel named, Amsterdam Hostel. I rented a room for 3 weeks for $900. It's a pretty big room. I just wish I could stay for more than 3 weeks. San Francisco has a housing law that says if a person rents a room for more than 3 weeks, he or she cannot be asked to leave without taking him or her to court. So most hotels rent for only 3 weeks at a time. Even if you offer a deposit, hotels won't accept it.
